ten years ago, i was just out of high school... the world was a scary place to me anyway, because i had no clue what i was going to do next... i wasn't in school & i didn't have a job.
& then 9.11 happen... & like most people, i have vivid memories of seeing it all on tv...
i hardly knew what to think, but i could tell things were changing in this world. & now that 10 years has passed & so much has happen, i still feel pride for this country & gratitude to the people who have fought & lost their lives for it... but honestly, what this country & our world really needs, now more than ever, is not pride... we need to humble ourselves before God & choose His way- the way of true peace & hope. so, i think today would be a great day to come together & pray for this world. pray for all those who have experienced direct pain & loss from 9.11 & also for those all over the world who need to know love instead of hate.
not long ago i read these verses & i thought they were such a beautiful prayer for our world, so i figured i would share them on this anniversary...
