it's always been a bit hard for me to say what my favorite color is, because there are so many colors that i really love... & there are so many amazing color combination possibilities as well... really, the inspiration is never ending! what a very special blessing that God gave us to be able to see everything in color!!

anyway, i have seen a lot of cute ways of sharing color inspiration & i really like the idea! so, i think this is something i am going to try to do every once in a while... i will share a photo that inspires me. then i will create a color palette that was inspired by that photo... so fun!

this weekend, my sister & i went to see one of our friends... her & her husband have a 2-year-old daughter & they are about to have another little girl, very soon... yay! i love taking photos of their little girl, she is so cute... & i can't wait to take some newborn photos when the baby arrives! :)

the weather was so perfect! we just enjoyed the outside for a while!

we even saw the first sign of spring coming...

 we also went to the yarn shop & i got some pretty new colors for spring! yay!!

so, i thought i would join in with the weekly gratitude

& share some of the things that i have been thankful for lately...

i am thankful for the Bible study that i am doing right now! we are learning about living lives of integrity for Christ! & how it's so important to keep our focus on Him, even as this world often tries to bring us down. it's a study of the book of daniel. i am loving it!

i am thankful that the weather has been so beautiful this past week... it's so nice just to get outside & feel the fresh air! take my doggie for a walk. & of course to take photos... i love nice days in february!

i am thankful that my brother got a job today!! & it seems like it will be the perfect job for him! yay!!

i am thankful for 50% off valentine candy! yumm.

i am thankful for my camera & for my 365 photo-a-day challenge! i have had fun & i can say that i like most of the photos that i have taken, so far...

i am thankful that it is finally the weekend! BIG YAY!!!

sugar cookie love...

yesterday, i made heart-shaped sugar cookies, for a little valentine party that me & my sister are doing for the kids in my church! the kids will get to frost & decorate their own cookies! fun!! also, we are going to watch "be my valentine, charlie brown"... oh, i love charlie brown, so cute!! :) the party is tonight... it should be a lot of fun!! hopefully not too chaotic...

anyway, i love making sugar cookies...
& heart-shaped ones are even better!
