HAPPY DECEMBER EVERYONE!!
advent is a time of expectant waiting and preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus! it's such a special time of the year & of course...
♥ Jesus is the Reason for the Season! ♥
so, i thought it would be fun to share "my advent calendar" with you.
there are so many special Christmas-y things to do... i want to cherish them all!

{2} hang up my pretty crocheted snowflakes.
{3} help decorate my family's Christmas tree
{4} put up my grandma's Christmas village ♥
{5} make Christmas candy: chocolate covered cherries & peanut butter cups... yumm!
{6} watch Hallmark Christmas movies (i love them... haha)
{7} decorate my mini Christmas tree, a very special gift from my grandma ♥
{8} watch lots of classic Christmas movies, like a Charlie Brown Christmas!
{9} make Christmas cookies, for my church's nativity!
{10} my church's living nativity, celebrating the TRUE meaning of Christmas!
{11} Christmas shopping!
{12} knit a scarf to give to someone i love for Christmas.
{13} eat lots of candy canes!
{14} make Christmas cards for friends & family
{15} relax by the fire with a cup of spiced cider.
{16} wear a silly Christmas Sweater!
{17} take a drive to look at Christmas lights.
{18} going to see a musical Christmas play of "It's a Wonderful Life"! yay!!
{19} singing in a Christmas Cantata, with my church choir.
{20} wrap Christmas presents!
{21} make more Christmas cookies... yumm!!
{22} sponsor a child, through compassion.com
{23} read the the story of the birth of our Savior from the Bible ♥
{24} go to Candlelight Service is always one of my favorites!
{25} MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! celebrate the birth of my Savior with my family!
so, there is my list! i am so excited that it's Christmastime...

I don't have one online, but my family has had the same advent calendar since I was really little. It tells the story of the birth of Jesus in the 25 days before Christmas. It's one of my favorite parts of this season. :)
