These snowy shots were taken back in mid-March, thankfully not today!! That morning, I remember waking up to these big snow flakes covering all the tree branches and of course I had to go out for photos. I was really happy I did because the wind would blow the flakes off the branches and with the sunshine, it was really pretty! Now that April is here, the trees have little buds and baby leaves growing (YAY) but I figured I better post these snowy photos now, or else I wouldn't at all. Even though I definitely have "spring-fever", but I can still appreciate the beauty of snow!

photography | snow days...
The last couple of days have been "snow days" where I live... everyone loves a snow day!
Days filled with reading, movies, baking, games and of course, playing in the snow...

Today and yesterday have been all of that for me!
My dog is not a fan of water (she despises baths) so it has always been funny to me how much
she loves to run around in the snow. As you can tell by the photos, she likes to eat snow and
get it on her nose... haha! I so love her cuteness and playfulness in these shots!

These next photos were actually taken yesterday, when the storm was at it's worst.
Church was cancelled and it was too cold and blowing snow to spend much time outside.
We only lasted about 5 minutes and my dog was far more interested in staying inside...

the Light of the world...
J E S U S ...
He came to us, for us, even in our sin. He came to this lowly place to live as we live, yet without sin, to take our sin upon Himself. He came to save us and give us hope. He is the Giver and the Gift. And the gift of His Love never fades, even when the Christmas lights do. He is the Light of the world always...
(Listened to this song a lot this Christmas season!)
I hope you all had a very
M E R R Y C H R I S T M A S !
(And here are some photos from last week, when I woke up to a glorious combination of snow, fog and sun...)
