I have been in the mood to design prints lately... So I have listed a few new designs in my shop!

(FYI... The first two designs above actually have a white background, but for some reason blogger (or something I can't figure out) is making them gray. The last print actually does has a very light gray background, it is not white. If you know why it is doing this, I would love to know how to fix it... my thoughts | getting a little bit Christmas-y!!

I love that Thanksgiving & Christmas are so close together. They are my favorite holidays and I believe 

you can celebrate them simultaneously, starting November 1st!! :) Fall decorations are up on the mantle 

& it reminds me that it's all just the beginning... I start enjoying Christmas music & movies right away 

because I think those things should be enjoyed for longer than just one month. However, Thanksgiving 

will never be passed over; Christmas decorations don't go up until after Thanksgiving. 

And I will not go "black friday shopping" on Thanksgiving night. 

To each his own, but that is the way I like to do things...   :)

Since I have already started listening to Christmas music, I have been inspired by some of the amazing 

words to Christmas songs! So, I decided to use them to create some fun Christmas-y designs!

 These designs are available for sale in my shop, as 8x10 prints! I thought I would post these before

 Thanksgiving, so there would be plenty of time to purchase them for decorating your wall this Christmas!

Oh, this time of year... the holiday season truly fills my heart with warmth, thanksgiving & joy!  

This season is about a lot of happy little things... the music, movies, baked goodies, twinkle lights, shopping, family traditions, etc... BUT mostly this season is about giving thanks to God for all He has done over the year & it's about celebrating the birth of the Savior- the greatest gift of all & the sole reason for gratitude at Thanksgiving and joy, hope, love & peace at Christmas... and all year long for that matter!!

Yesterday I watched the "Christmas at the Farm" webcast with Ann Voskamp & Liz Curtis Higgs. 

Their messages were a beautiful reminder of what Christmas is really about & how important it is to stay focused on Christ during this season. It can be so easy to get too caught up in everything else, so we have to be intentional about staying focused on Him through it all. I was inspired & I will definitely be getting Ann's new book, The Greatest Gift to read for Advent this season! I love that it is meant to be a devotional for each day of December. Such a lovely way to stay focused on Jesus this season! I am so excited to start it on December 1st!

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year!!

Tiny Prints inspiration boards...

A couple of weeks ago, I received an email from Tiny Prints about some of their collections. I thought it 

would be fun to use some of my own photos to make inspiration boards that were inspired by their beautiful

products. Tiny Prints is a part of Shutterfly and they have a wide variety of premium cards, stationery, etc. 

for everything from house warming party invitations to new baby announcements. Their options are 

really cute, colorful & perfect for so many different occasions!

My first inspiration board is for a house warming party... I love the blue watercolored background & 

the writing on this invitation. I definitely feel like it reflects my own personal style, so it was easy to 

make an inspiration board with my own prints.

Then, I made an inspiration board for a new baby girl's birth announcement! I love the hearts 
& the shades of corals & pinks, so all of that was a big part of my inspiration. Plus, the Knit Bow 
Headbands in my shop are one of my favorite things to make & the coral color seems to be the 
most popular, so I was excited to be able to include them in this collection!

new "mini knit bow headbands" in my shop!

I have just added a new collection of Mini Knit Bow Headbands to my shop! Yay!!

(These are a mini version of my original design, which is still for sale here.)

On these mini headbands, the bands are about a 1/2" wide & the bows are about 3".

They are perfect for newborns to 3 months, but could be custom made for any size.

They would make great props for baby photo sessions! Cute!

And they come in really pretty new colors, that are perfect for spring!!

If I didn't have spring fever before, I do now...   :)

week fourteen & more bible verses...

Honestly, I have gotten a little bit behind lately on the memorizing part.... I have been working on Beth Moore's study of James, which is were my verses have come from over the last few weeks & I am enjoying it very much! But I haven't really been studying my verses like I should. Anyway, it is a new week & time to start working harder! So, I will continue on with my next verse & I will try harder to dedicate a special time of the day to study more! Can't give up! :)

Also, I just recently made these new scripture art prints & I love the way they turned out! I always think it's such a good idea to post favorite Bible verses around your house... They can be such great reminders throughout your day... Maybe these will inspire you! They are for sale in my etsy shop!!

i just did an update to my shop with a few new knitted items! i love the way the baby hat turned out (i am working on another one right now) & i was tempted to keep the cowls... 

they are so soft & warm!
