Lately I Am...

THANKFUL FOR //  My new Lensbaby Composer (birthday gift)... I have just started playing with it & I love it already! I can't wait to take it on my spring/summer adventures! Also, for spring sunshine, flowers and days that I get to wear shorts & sandals. When the weather is nice I feel so happy!

LOVING //  Bangs. Lately I have gathered lots of pinterest inspiration on the subject... but over the weekend I watched Remember Sunday and I was inspired by Alexis Bledel's hair... So, that is why I finally decided to cut my own bangs (and because I was in need of a hair update...) Of course, I don't pull them off quite like she does, 
after all she is "Rory"! 

WORKING ON //  A crocheted chevron afghan/throw. I had to rip it out once, but now it is going really good! 

ANTICIPATING //  My birthday is tomorrow, so I am excited for that! But I am even more excited because I am going to a Rockies game with my family this weekend to celebrate! I can't wait... I just hope the weather cooperates, because lately it's sunny & 80 degrees one day & the next it's cold & snowing... crazy Colorado weather!

THINKING ABOUT //  Getting older... I am reminded of all of the ways God has blessed me in the time that I have been on this earth so far. Everyday we have in this life is a gift.

WATCHING //  Rockies baseball everyday!! :)

READING //  Crazy Love by Francis Chan. The Missing Manuscript of Jane Austen by Syrie James. 
Enjoying them both so far... 

LISTENING TO //  Still listening to the Jon Foreman station on Pandora a lot. 

EATING //  Dreyer's Slow Churned Salted Caramel Pretzel Ice Cream... it is amazing!

Over the weekend, my mom, sister & I were in a craft & bake sale. So, last week there was a lot of early Christmas baking going on!! 

Oh, so many cookies were made... Happily most of them were sold! :)

Favorite Christmas candies & watching Home Alone 2... I just love this time of year!

Bare tree branches against the blue sky... Winter is beautiful too! 

And... Photoshop Elements 11 was delivered to me over the weekend! Yay!

Last weekend was Ren's 2nd birthday party & it was so fun to watch her open all of her gifts!

I gave her a hat that I made & I was so happy when my cousin told me that she loves it!

That girl is too cute, even if the picture is blurry... always on the go!! :)

My church is doing Operation Christmas Child again this year! It is one of my favorite ministries!

And I gave my hair a little bit of a red tint a few days ago... it doesn't look much different but I still like it!

I have had lots of apple cider lately. Yumm!

And chocolate & caramel for a new recipe that I will share soon!

I made apple crisp last week... I used this recipe for the topping & it was great!

And I organized some of my yarn, now it looks so much prettier! :)
