Back in early October, my mom, sister and I went to the mountains to see some of the fall leaves. This is probably one of my favorite autumn traditions, because I don't know if there is anything prettier on this earth than fall in the mountains. It was a perfect day for it... the sky was a clear, bright blue and the weather was a little crisp, but warm at the same time. When the sunlight hit those golden aspen leaves it was magical. Plus, there were horses and a rustic old barn in the field!! Me and my camera were quite happy with the beautiful scenery.

pagosa springs | part three
Okay, here are the last of my photos from my trip to Pagosa Springs, a month ago... Most of these shots
were taken at Parelli Natural Horsemanship, which we first discover when we were in Pagosa last year.
It is such a beautiful place, where they train people from all over the world to ride horses. I am so happy to
have found this place, because I love taking photos of horses... they are truly the most beautiful animal!!

afternoon in the mountains
Trips to the mountains are one of my favorite things about living in Colorado!
The air is cool & fresh and there are so many beautiful things to see!
It is a blessing to be able to "getaway from it all" even if it's only for an afternoon...
As we were driving we saw this mama & baby deer! I zoomed in as much as I could to get this photo.
It's not the best shot, but I love that they are both looking right at me!! So cute! :)
More photos from this adventure coming soon...
:)
